About Slide Gate

Our dust tight slide gates can be installed above the airlock valves to isolate valve for maintenance beneath silos or hoppers for controlled discharge/ loading. Slide gates are designed to shut off the flow of product from outlets of dry bulk storage bins, silos, conveyors and other discharge points. Slide gates are used to control the discharge of bulk materials from hoppers, bins, silos or conveyors.

Slide Gates consist of a rigid frame mounted to the bottom of a storage device or conveyor. A slide plate is located inside the frame that either opens or closes against the flow of material.

The slide plate can be moved by manual, pneumatic, electric or hydraulic means. Slide Gate is designed for gravity flow applications, variable slide gate actuation settings enable partial material flow as well as full-open or closed settings.
